Representative Douglas continues to work on legislation to require autopsies when an infant dies unexpectedly if it is suspected to be Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and to end discrimination against a mother breastfeeding her child in places of public accommodation.

Tax reform and property tax relief legislation that Representative Douglas supports has been drafted by many legislators, but the majority party has refused to let them be heard in committee and come to the House floor for a vote.
